PURPOSE:To enable to quickely and stably measure the multiplication of bacteria, by measuring the variation of oxidation reduction electric potential of culture ground in the multiplication process of bacteria as the potential variation between solid electrodes. CONSTITUTION:Oxidation reduction electric potential of culture ground is varied in the multiplication process of bacteria. Said potential variation is measured by combining solid electrode which is expected to simplify the structure. On this occasion, silver electrode is not used because of restraining the multiplication of bacteria, but the combination of carbon electrode with another electrode is effective among various combinations because of having comparatively many potential variations. Combination of C-Pt electrode is ideal when the corrosion resistance of material is considered. |
