<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a flexible diaphragm by providing a protection device to the flexible diaphragm at a booster pump which pressure-transmits a fluid pressure inside one chamber to the other through the intermediary of the flexible diaphragm. CONSTITUTION:The interior of a high-pressure side cylinder 1 of a booster is partitioned into B chamber 6 and C1 chamber 5 with a dividing flexible diaphragm 21. A piston 3 of the primary cylinder 2 is pushed out by the action of the primary cylinder chamber 7 and the primary fluid a inside A, pressing fluid b inside B chamber by means of the secondary piston 4 and then pressure-transmitting a pressure-fed fluid C from a feeder port 8 through a discharge port with the help of a nonreturn valve 10 after passing through a pipe 32. A protection device 23-26 consisting of a flexible diaphragm 21 is provided in B chamber and C chamber. The protection device 23 is equipped with a passage hole for C fluid and the protection device 24, 26 with a valve device, so that the valve is closed to protect the flexible diaphragm 21, if the flexible diaphragm is depressed.</p> |
