PURPOSE:To prevent a crack by coating an electrode, with a positive pole component such as an active material and the like on both faces of a conductive supporter and by adhering less quantity of the components to an inner face than an outer face of the supporter which is circled into the shape of a volution along with a beltlike negative pole holding a separation between them. CONSTITUTION:Positive pole components 23 and 24 consisting of an active material, a conductive agent and an adhesive are adhered on both faces of a conductive supporter 1 such as a metal net plate or the like. The supporter is then circled into the shape of a volution along with a beltlike negative pole 5 holding a separator 4 between them. As for positive pole components for an electrode thus prepared, it is predetermined to spread a less quantity to an inner side 23 than an outer side 24. For example, 6.4g of a mixture of 13pts.wt. manganese dioxide, 1pt.wt. carbon and 2pts.wt. polytetrafluoethylene is adhered by a pressure of 1t/cm<2> to the supporter of a stainless wirenet at the rate of 1/4pts.wt. on one face and 3/4pts.wt. on the other face so that a thickness of the mixture is 0.2-0.4mm. on the inner side and 0.8-1.0mm. on the outer side. Accordingly, although the inner side is constracted and the outer side extended due to circling, the positive pole components may be prevented from a crack or the like because of a difference in the quantity adhered on both sides. |
