Feed hopper with rectangular sides and side outlet - has water jets around frame and over base for cleaning

The feed hopper has a top frame which is mounted over a collection channel with a lower outlet. The rectangular frame has vertical sides to form a hopper with a sloping base with a central lower edge forming a fast flow zone. The discharge chute is located on one side of the hopper with its lower edge extending in line beyond the base. The hopper is fitted at the top edge with a water pipe carrying a number of evenly spaced jets used for cleaning out the hopper. There is also a jet at the highest edge of the base used for flushing the base.
