The razor has a head with an upper section (1), which is narrower, but has a higher central arch, than conventional. The lower head section (5) is of smaller arcuation. Located between the two sections is an insert (6) with transverse or inclined upper channels. This permits the insertion of a second blade between the insert and upper section. The longitudinal sides of both sections have inclined sides to give a more resilient shave.
