发明名称 METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MEASURING AUTOMATICALLY YOUNG`S MODULUS OF STRIP STEEL
摘要 PURPOSE:To measure and record the Young's modulus continuously and automatically by calculating strain and stress from the measured values of tension applied to the strip steel transferring continuously, the velocity of the strip steel before and after application of the tension and width, thickness, etc. and thereby deciding the Young's modulus. CONSTITUTION:The velocity (v1) of the strip steel 1 transferred continuously by a pinch roll 2 is measured by the 1st plate-velocity meter 9 and further the thickness and width of the plate (h) and (w) are measured by a plate-thickness gage and a plate-width gage 12 and 13. To the strip steel 1 is applied the tension by bridle rolls 5 and 6, and this tension T is measured by a tension meter 14, while the velocity (v2) of the strip steel 1 after the tension T is applied thereto is measured by the 2nd plate-velocity meter 10 in linkage to a pinch roller 7. By processing measured values thus obtained in operation circuits 16 and 15, stress sigma and strain epsilon are calculated, and thus the Young's modulus E is determined by an operator 17 and recorded in a recorder 19. By this constitution, the Young's modulus of the strip steel transferring continuously is measured and recorded automatically in succession.
