<p>PURPOSE:To make easy the translation among many languages, by selecting a plurality of memories storing the information to be retrieved in common address order and retrieving it, through the instruction of the keyboard having the character key and memory designation key. CONSTITUTION:The keyboard 1 has the alphabet character keys, indication key selecting English, German, and French, and clear key. When the depression of key is detected at the input circuit 2, this is delivered to the control circuit 3 via the circuit 2 and the program corresponding to the key is read out and executed from the program memory 4. Further, the character input code is stored in the register 51 and displayed on the display circuit 6. The data memories 81-83 storing the English, French and German words are connected to the common address register 91, the address of stored word is designated and output to the registers, 51, 52. Either one of memories 91-93 is selected with the memory selection circuit 92 with the designation key on the keyboard 1, and French or German corresponding to English is retrieved.</p> |
