The invention relates in general to the field of heating and ventilating technology and addresses the technical problems limiting a flexible utilisation of heat, smoke and embers from one and the same fire, whereby the fundamental principles for the solution of said problem is to place on top of the fireplace in question, another fireplace that is rotated 180 degrees relative to same, and to incorporate into the other fireplace a smaller fireplace and connect this to a smokebox, whereby heat is transferred between the modules constituting the fireplace system from one and the same fire in the lower fireplace, partly by radiation, convection and heat transmission, and also directly to media such as water, air and other heat-absorbing materials placed directly abutting the modules, and partly manually and/or mechanically by transportation of heat, fire, embers and fuel between the modules, whereby conditions are created for use for cooling, grilling, baking, open fire, smoking, room heating, drying, steam generation, etc. <IMAGE> |
