PURPOSE:To prevent the production of spikes due to the difference between gate delay times, by passing through the Q output of a flip-flop immediately before and the Q' output of all the flip-flops before that. CONSTITUTION:At least >=2, e.g., flip-flops FFs 11-14 are used, and the operation of the FFs depends upon the output of the FFs located before for an objective FF, and the constitution is made that the change in the 1st stage FF and other FFs after the stage are operated in opposite phase. and the Q output of the FF13 and the Q' output of all the FFs before the stage are given to the same gate circuit 16, to decide to obtain toggle type FFs or that the content of the FFs are unchanged. Thus, when one pulse is inputted, the internal state is changed only by one in comparison with the stage before, allowing to avoid the production of spikes. |
