A dosing control for a developer bath has a gravity feed reservoir and a rotating drum bath (16) mounted in pivot supports which hold the drum horizontal for processing and either end up for filling or emptying. The drum rotates during processing. A level control in the reservoir inhibits processing if there is insufficient fluid for the next process. The drum mounting uses a collar (22) which is gripped by two sets of rollers (26) on a support clamp. A central pivot axle (30) swivels the drum into either vertical position. No pumps are required.
