Easily fitted decor panels for furniture units - has interacting noses and undercut edges for secure firm fixing

The furniture unit or similar which is to be fitted with a fascia panel or decor panel has a base plate (2) designed to interact with the counter plate (4) on the panel. The side edges (3) of the base plate (2) are undercut whilst the counter plate (4) has projecting noses (5) which can be inserted and firmly clamped beneath these undercut edges (3) allowing easy firm fixing. The noses are pref. resiliently pliable and can be set angled on the counter plate wherein the corners of the noses are at a distance from the outer edge of the counter plate and the spacing between the outer edge of the counter plate and corner being roughly equal to or larger than the thickness of the nose.
