PURPOSE:To save the measure of depth of a bank note processor and realize a compact structure by causing the note to be held almost vertically on the carrying path where the note is sucked, at the storing part, on a note storing box, at the pool part and on the return path, respectively. CONSTITUTION:A user throws en bloc a bundled number of notes 40 into a carrying path 23 through a slit 1 in the direction of shorter side. Then the notes 40 are drawn out by one sheet one each drawing by rotary feeding rollers 29 and 30 and sent to a discriminating part 3 to receive a discrimination. The nondefective note 40 sent out of the part 3 is held between and carried by conveyors 4 and 5, and its carrying path is changed by a gate 6 to send the note into a storing part 15. The note is then stored in a note storing box 17 by a pusher 16 that is driven by a pantagraph mechanism 53. While a detective note 40 is carried through between conveyors 4 and 5 plus a conveyor 7 and a roller 8 and once stored in almost vetical state at a pool part 9 to be returned to a return slit 18. |
