PURPOSE:To constitute a device which is very easy to read, by a method wherein an ultrasonic signal, received from underwater, is converted by means of a A/D conversion circuit to be added to a color signal generator consisting of 2 systems being different in a color, and is switched by means of a submarine discriminating signal. CONSTITUTION:An ultrasonic wave, returning through the reflection from the water, is received by means of a receiver 3, is formed into digits by means of a A/D conversion circuit 5, is added to first and second color signal generating circuits 8 and 10, and each output is added to gate circuit 7 and 9. Meanwhile, from the output of the receiver 3, and by utilizing a crest value and a periodicity, a signal from the bottom of the sea is discriminated and separated by a discriminating circuit 6, and is inputted to a flip flop 11 togetherwith a pulse a receiver 2. Colors for a first color signal are produced into green, blue, and purple in turn from a weak receiving level to a strong, and colors for a second color signal are produced into yellow, orange, and brown like the above. The flip flop 11 switches so that a selection circuit 12 indicates an underwater section W by means of the first color signal and a sea bottom section B by means of the second color signal. This causes very easy reading of an indication. |
