PURPOSE:A hair cosmetic that contains, as essential components, a di-16-18C alkyl quaternary ammonium salt, a di-20-22C alkyl quaternary ammonium salt and stearyl glycerol ether and/or cholesterol. CONSTITUTION:The objective hair cosmetic contains, as essential components, (A) 0.1-3wt% of a compound of formula I (R1, R2 are 16-18C alkyl; R3, R4 are 1-3C alkyl, hydroxyalkyl; X is halogen, alkylsulfate), (B) 0.1-3wt% of compound of formula II (R5, R6 are 20-22C alkyl; R7, R6 are R3, R4) and (C) 0.3- 4.0wt% of stearyl glycerol ether of formula III and/or cholesterol of formula IV wherein the weight ratio of (A) to (B) is 1/3-3/1. The resultant cosmetic can give good luster to hair in both cases where it is applied to a rinsing-type shampoo and to a nonrinsing-type. |
