PURPOSE:To increase the durability of a magnetic head, by contacting the magnetic head with a magnetic recording medium at the forward motion, of the magnetic head, operating a depressing control means at the backward motion to isolating the both. CONSTITUTION:When a card 1 having magnetic stripes 1a is inserted in a device, the card 1 is depressed and fixed with support plates 2a, 2b and depressing members 3a, 3b. The pressing members 3a, 3b press the card 1 with spring 4b, 5b and levers 4, 5. At the forward motion, of a magnetic head 8 from one end to another end of the card 1, or backward motion from another end to one end, the control of the magnetic head 8 whether it is contacted with the card 1 or detached from the card 8 is made by moving a knob 13 toward the arrow B or the reverse direction at the end of forward or backward motion. |
