PURPOSE:To enable efficient recording and to quicken recording processing speed, by keeping up the recording through the transfer of the recorded information to another recording track, if one of regions provided with sections is filled up with the recorded information, in the recording track under recording. CONSTITUTION:By setting each endless recording track of a magnetic tape 1 with split to a plurality of regions T1-T3 along the moving direction, video information 5 sequentially and continuously supplied with a two-dimension scanner 6 is sequentially distributed and recorded on the regions T1-T3 set with split on said recording track. Thus, if one of the regions T1-T3 of the recording tracks during recording is filled up with recording, the recording is transferred on another recording track to continue the recording. When a number of video information 5 is recorded continuously, unnecessary waiting time can be removed, allowing to record it efficuently and to remarkably quicken the recording processing speed. |
