PURPOSE:To improve the operability, by switching to an indirect registering state in case when contents of sales are inputted at an idle time, and switching to a direct registering state in other case. CONSTITUTION:A key 8c belonging to a key group 8 of a key input part 1 is operated, and a control device 7 sets an registering state, and sets a processing program. Subsequently, a customer number is inputted by a numerical key belonging to a key group 10, and a contents of sales of this customer are inputted by use of an each item key, a quantity key and a unit price key, belonging to a key group 11, and the numerical key of the key group 10. After that, the control device 7 closes an input to a memory 3 by operating at end key 13. At this stage, when settling accounts of the contents of sales, the contents of sales of a customer number in the memory 3 are displayed on a CRT5 and a printer 6, and are summed up and stored in a sum-up memory 2. On the other hand, in case of direct registering, the key group 8 is operated, the contents of sales are inputted by use of the key group 10 and 11, its contents are displayed on the CRT5 and the printer 6 immediately, and are stored in the sum-up memory. |
