The arrangement is intended for a boring tool comprising a housing (1) in which two carriers (7) with cylindrical shaft ends (9) hold cutting bits (13) and are radially adjustable. The two co-axial shafts have external screw thread on their inner ends engaging an internal thread in adjusting rings which rest on axial bearings in the housing. One bearing has a bearing race formed by a shoulder in the housing whilst the race of the other is the end face of a bush (5) screwed in the housing. A common axial bearing is arranged between the rings. Blind radial bores allow rotation of the rings to adjust the radial distance of the cutting edges from the centre. The housing has a trapezoidal groove to centralise the tool relative to the spindle.
