<p>The concrete casting production machine has a frame with compaction mechanism and soundproofing equipment for the latter. The soundproofing equipment comprises a box-shaped casing (1) enclosing the complete compaction mechanism (4,5) with power unit (10) and loading equipment (2,3,6) and supported from the ground by antivibration mountings (13,14). A noise-attenuating cowl (8) covers an opening (5) in the casing cover, about which is the discharge end of a conveyor (7) delivering to the loading equipment. Dimensions and shape of cowl and opening can be such that emergent sound waves cannot be discharged directly to atmosphere.</p> |
