<p>The brake testing device jas a drum with an air operating chamber between a bellows sealed by an upper lid and a lower plate and the drum, a switching mechanism, a level indicator and a connector between the air operating chamber and the compres compressed air feed. The arrangement contains simple provisions preventing the bellows from tilting within the drum and uses a very small operating vol. The sleeve guides (11) are attached to the sealing plate (10) around the edge for guide rods projecting outside the bellows (3) and near its edge when the bellows are compressed. The sleeve guides can be attached to eyes (101,102) arranged peripherally with the sealing plate in channels (103,104) in the drum (2). One eye (102) has a further non-circular hole (105) through which passes a rod drilled along its length and connected to the level instrument indicator.</p> |
