PURPOSE:To increase the read-in accuracy and reliability of operation of a transfer printer, by loading a magnet on a rotating body for read-in section shift amount detection and detecting the direction of magnetic field of a rotating magnetic field produced with the magnet. CONSTITUTION:A permanent magnet 1 is loaded at the side of a rotating body 2 and the body 2 is fitted to a rotating body holding section 4 with a shaft 3 freely rotatably. The section 4 is loaded with magnetic sensors 6, 7, a hole or recess 8 is provided at the part corresponding to the shaft 3, and this section 4 is loaded to the read-in section main body of the transfer printer. An output V0 of a DC voltage source 11 is supplied to the magnetic sensors 6, 7, and it is halved to 1/2V0 at a voltage division circuit 12 and applied to differential amplifiers 13, 14. Further, the output of the magnetic sensors 6, 7 is inputted to the amplifiers 13, 14 respecttively, and a voltage proportional to the inputted rotating angle is outputted at the amplifiers 13, 14. The voltage proportional to the input is applied to a phase detection section 15 to output a sawtooth wave signal having a period corresponding to a rotating angle pi from the section 15 to be processed at the interpolation processing section 16. |
