PURPOSE:To inspect a fuel cost gauge in an installed state without detaching the fuel cost gauge, and to apply a testing device to an injection engine, etc., by connecting the device freely attachably and detachably between the oscillation part and display part of the fuel cost gauge. CONSTITUTION:Waveform shaping circuits 3 and 4 receive pulse signals from transmitters 1 and 2 of fuel cost gauges to perform waveform shaping. A pulse oscillator 5 which is variable in oscillation frequency varies in frequency, for example, from 0 to about 200Hz. A batch counter 10, when going up to a desired count number, generates outputs of logic 1, and a batch selection switch 11 switching those outputs and a batch switch 12 turning on and off a batch function constitute a batch circuit 9. Counters 16 and 17 count input pulses and display their contents numerically. Then, the device having the said constitution is inserted and connected freely attachably and detachably between the oscillation part and display part of the fuel cost gauge to test the precision and performance of various fuel cost gauges easily. |
