PURPOSE:To perform the high magnetizing work accurately by mounting a plurality of magnetic ring stripes at the neck section of a color CRT to form the magnetized regions having different width. CONSTITUTION:A color CRT1 is comprising a panel 2 having the inner face applied with a phosphor film, a funnel 3 of conical shape, a neck section 4 composed of a glass tube to be connected to the funnel 3 and an electron gun 5 to be encapsulated in the neck section 4. CRT1 is operated while being fixed with a deflection yoke 8 and a magnetic ring 9. The magnetic member 9 has two stripe-shaped magnetized regions B1 and B2 shown by the slant line section when developed. here the regions B1, B2 have different width where the majority of the magnetization required for the correction is born by the wider region while the remainder is born by the narrow region. |
