In order to avoid damage to windscreen wipers on vehicles, in particular motor vehicles, by them being torn out of a position in which they have frozen to the windscreen, the windscreen of such a vehicle has, at least in the area in which a wiper blade lies in its position of rest on the external surface of the windscreen an electrical heating device which is let into the said windscreen.
