<p>PURPOSE:To prevent intrusion of a photosensitive paper into a corona charger, by providing the opening part of the corona charger with a covering plate having a downward angle of 5-70 deg. to the direction reverse to that of movement of the paper. CONSTITUTION:The opening part of a corona charger 1 is provided with covering plates. A photosensitive paper 3 moves forward in the direction of arrow A. The plates 4 are set so as to have a downward angle theta of 5-70 deg., preferably, 5- 30 deg., to the direction reverse to that of the paper 3 movement, thus permitting the plates 4 to force the forward end of the paper 3 a little curling downward and tending to intrude into the charger 1 to move upward or outward, and the paper 3 to be prevented from intruding into the charger 1 and smoothly conveyed.</p> |
