Blood flow stopping ligature - has holder with elastic compression member on strap side facing body

The ligature has a blood flow stopping strap to be placed round a body member and held tight by a locking device. The latter also incorporates an additional tightening mechanism and a cover strip underneath. The cover strip (22) and/or the strap have a holder (27) with an elastic compression member (41) on the side towards the member of the body concerned. The holder can be a clip fitted on strip or strap in the transverse direction. The compression member is detachable from the holder which is of a U-shaped configuration of sheet metal.
