The cutting machine movable on crawler tracks (2) has crawler boats (1) on either side of its longitudinal axis. The crawler boats (1) are fastened in a vertically adjustable manner to the machine frame (4) and can be secured in at least two vertical positions. For this purpose, straps (3) projecting to the inside are secured to the crawler boats (1).
