In a silo container (1) for pulverulent and/or fine-grained, pneumatically conveyable goods which are to be picked up from a container or from a platform and/or stored in a silo, there is arranged in the silo container (1) a filter (3) to which is connected a vacuum line (4) leading to the outside and to a vacuum generator (18). In order to fill the silo container (1) with pulverulent and/or fine-grained, pneumatically conveyable goods from a container or from a platform, the emptying pipe is introduced from above into the container or onto the platform, as far as the upper region of the abovementioned stored material, and the silo container (1) is subjected to a vacuum. <IMAGE>
