PURPOSE:To obtain a drawing of a high data density without the overlap of characters, by arranging character strings in the direction vertical to azimuth data of the advance direction and providing an operator which checks intervals of character strings on a basis of the speed of a ship, a plotter which controls the size and the inclination of characters, and a data input device. CONSTITUTION:A data input device 1, to which investigation data D1 consisting of a position signal a1, an investigation signal b1, and an azimuth signal c1 is inputted continuously and are converted to digital numeric values, and an operator 2 which analyzes and processes conversion data D2 consisting of position information a2, investigation information b2, and azimuth information c2 are provided. Operations are so performed that a minimum value of position information a2 is mached to the origin and a maximum value is matched to the full scale to obtain drawing position information a3, and investigation information b2 is converted to recording character information b3, and this information b3 is given as drawing data D3 to a plotter 3 for the purpose of recording information b3 in the direction of character direction information c3 which is obtained by rotating azimuth information c2 at 90 deg. counterclockwise, thus recording investigation results. |
