The car washing machine includes several stages, the first of which includes wetting the vehicle. The vehicle is then subject to an emulsion of water, air and detergent in order to clean the surfaces before being rinsed. Clean water is sprayed onto the vehicle before it is dryed using compressed air. All stages are carried out under anti-electrostatic conditions. The various functions of the machine are carried out by sets of jets at different points - first for wetting the car, then washing and rinsing, which is achieved using rotating jets. An optional polishing region may be included before the drying area. The water used is softened, and detergent has an added dielectric neutralising agent.
