PURPOSE:To obtain a printing plate easy to etch and superior in printing resistance, by using a copolymer of a monomer having an acid group as the binder of an organic photoconductive compound. CONSTITUTION:An organic photoconductor, such as 1,3,5-triphenylpyrazoline, a sensitizing dye, and a copolymer of a (meth)acrylate and CHR1=CR2COOH R1 being H or methyl, R2 being H, methyl, or -CH2COOH, in an amount of 10-70mol% are coated on an aluminum plate grained and subjected to anode oxidation treatment to form a printing plate material. This plate is positively charged in the dark, and exposed to a positive white light image. This is developed with a liquid toner, heat fixed, processed with an etching solution to disclose the aluminum face of nonimage areas except the toner image. Then, it is washed with water, inked, and used for printing. |
