PURPOSE:To easily align a polarizer to the F axis of a function fiber by fixing a connecting metallic fixture to the polarizer and then rotating the connecting metallic fixture, and thus rotating the pollarizer together accordingly. CONSTITUTION:A connecting metallic fixture 35 has a hole 36 wherein th 2nd fixe metallic fixture 31 is inerted and an insertion hole, having a less internal diameter than said insertion hole, inside of the insertion hole, and a projecting end 37 coming into contact with a step part 24 is formed. A polarizer 2 is fixed to the projecting end and part of the internal surface. On the external circumference side of the connecting metallic fixture, the 2nd screw groove 38 engaging with the 1st screw grrove 28 is formed, and a fixed screw 39 is engaged with a screw groove communicating with the insertion hole 36. A fixed screw 28 is clamped to fix the connecting metallic fixture 35 to the 2nd fixed metallic fixture 31. Further, a hollow nut 25 is engaged with the connecting metallic fixture 35 and clamped to couple a light guide 10 with a function fiber 4 optically. |
