PURPOSE:To provide an operation monitor in which a practical using condition of a vehicle is taken into consideration, by a method wherein indication lamps for indicating an economical running condition and uneconomical running condition of a vehicle and a manual control for lighting off are mounted to the operating monitor. CONSTITUTION:An indication lamp 13, which lights in a green color at an economical running time, and an indication lamp 14, which lights in a red color at an uneconomical runningtime, are mounted to an operation monitor 12 actuated by means of a signal from an electronic controller 11 for a diesel engine 1 on a vehicle whereon the diesel engine is loaded, and a manual control 15 is installed to the monitor 12. When an economical running can be conducted only through the judgement of an operator and turning ON and OFF of the indication lamps 13 and 14 is troublesome, a circuit 16 for the indication lamps 13 and 14 can be opened through depressing of the manual control 15, and this obtains the operation monitor 12 in which a practical operating condition of a vehicle is taken into consideration. |
