PURPOSE:To improve the measuring accuracy of an electronic control apparatus for an internal combustion engine which is intended for controlling the ignition timing, fuel injection timing, etc. of the engine, by delaying the period of measured clock signals by making the logical product of the interruption timing of interval interruption signals and measured state signals. CONSTITUTION:A control circuit 70 for controlling an injector 12 and an ignition coil 58 comprises a CPU 108, ROM 110, RAM 112, and I/O 114 to which outputs of sensor 24 for detecting the flow rate of intake air, a sensor 56 for detecting the temperature of cooling water, etc. are applied via a multiplexor 100 and an A/D converter 102. The I/O 114 includes a reference register group and an instantaneous register group for holding input data based on the outputs of the above sensors 24, 56, etc. and output data, i.e., the result of calculation of the CPU 108. Here, the period of measured clock signals is delayed by making the logical product of the interruption timing of interval interruption signals and measured stage signals, so that neasurement can be rendered highly accurate even if input intervals of measured signals are relatively long. |
