PURPOSE:To enhance a heating speed of particulates and working efficiency by changing the inclination of one set of two blades in a horizontal double cylinder to carry out feeding, heating, stirring and discharging of particulates. CONSTITUTION:One set of two rotary blades and one set of fixed blades 17, 19 are attached to the inner cylinder 14 of a horizontal double cylinder in the opposite direction alternatively. The inclination of these blades 16-19 is held to an advancing condition to rapidly send particulates into the inner cylinder 4 and, after said cylinder 4 is fully filled, a handle 35 is operated to move rotary blades 16, 18 to deform the blades to a bent shape and the stirring thereof is carried out while steam is fed into the cylinder 4 to heat particulates. After stirring, when particulates reach a predetermined temp., the handle 35 is again operated to feed in and to discharge the particulates while all blades 16-19 are held to an advanced condition. By this method, a heating speed is increased and particulates are treated in good working efficiency. |
