PURPOSE:To enable combustion of a large quantity of gas at the time of a heavy load and a stabilized combustion of the gas at the time of a light load, by providing independent plural number of secondary air chambers on the external circumferential part of a wall of a combustion chamber and supplying more secondary air upstream a combustion gas flow at the time of the combustion of the large quantity of gas and on the contrary downstream the combustion gas flow at the time of the combustion of a small quantity of gas. CONSTITUTION:A part of combustion air by means of a fan 1 is made to pass through a duct 2, which is supplied to a burner body 13 upon mixing with fuel being injected from a nozzle 12 provided within the duct 2, rectified and injected into a combustion chamber 15 for combustion. Then, the remainder of the combustion air is led to secondary air chambers 8 and 9 through ducts 3 and 4 respectively and injected into the combustion chamber 15 through injection nozzles 10 and 11. At this time, dampers 6 and 7 within the ducts 3 and 4 are opened when a combustion quantity of fuel gas is large enabling combustion of a large quantity of the fuel gas. On the other hand, the damper 6 within the duct 3 is closed at the time of combustion of a small quantity of the fuel gas, air supply to the secondary air chamber 8 is reduced and a flame base is prevented from cooling and stabilized combustion condition is attained. |
