<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the vibration of a spring caused by external vibration, by fitting a coil spring onto the outer circumferential surface of an inner end of an output hub, and allowing said spring to be in frictional contact with the inner circumferential surface of an outer cylindrical part of the output hub when torque is transmitted. CONSTITUTION:When an electric current is applied to a magnetizing coil 2 to produce magnetic fluxes, an armature 5 is magnetically attracted, and is rotated integrally with an input pulley 1, and the diameter of the coil spring 6 firmly fitted onto the outer circumference of the inner shaft part 4b of the output hub 4 is enlarged. Thus, as the spring 6 becomes in frictional contact with the inner circumferential surfaces of the outer cylindrical part 4a of the output hub 4 and a flange 1a of the input pulley 1, the torque of the input pulley 1 is transmitted to the output hub 4. Thereafter, if the electric current is stopped to the magnetizing coil 2, the armature 5 is released by a spring, etc., and the spring 6 returns by its own returning force onto the inner shaft part 4b of the output hub 4, and restore its original firm fitted state.</p> |
