<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a cryostatic material from precipitating by a method wherein a net and a blanket are fixed to wires stretched within the clearance between an inner tank and an outer tank of the titled tank circumferentially in spaced apart relationships with one another while the wires are connected to a side plate of the outer tank and the cool keeping material is packed between the outer tank and the inner tank. CONSTITUTION:The wires 22 are stretched loosely within the clearance 7 between the inner tank 5 and the outer tank 6 of the storage tank 1 circumferentially in spaced apart relationship with one another. The upper ends of the wires 22 are fixed to the roof 2 of the tank 1 by means of an upper fixing member 27 and the lower ends of the wires are fixed to the bottom 4 of the tank 1 by means of a lower fixing member 28. The net 23 and the blanket 24 are fixed to the outside of the wires 22 to thereby form cool keeping layer partition wall 21. Further, outer tank strengthening stiffeners 14 provided inside the side plate 12 of the outer tank 6 are connected to the wires 22, respectively, by means of placing rods 26 and the grannular cool keeping material 31 is packed between the cool keeping layer partition wall 21 and the side plate 12 of the outer tank 6 through an opening 8 in the roof 2 of the tank 1.</p> |
