<p>PURPOSE:To continuously vary a field current by connecting an armature chopper to a DC motor, connecting a shunt chopper circuit in parallel with a field coil, and connecting a rectifier in parallel with the field coil. CONSTITUTION:An armature chopper 7 is connected to a DC motor M, and a shunt chopper circuit having a reactor 9, a field dummy resistor 12 and a shunt chopper 13 is connected in parallel with the field coil 5 of the motor M. Further, a diode 14 is connected as a rectifier in parallel with the field coil 5. In this manner, when the coil 5 becomes a polarity as shown with an armature chopper 7 OFF, the diode 14 is conducted, and a pulsating current of the field current due to the chopper 7 can be reduced.</p> |
