PURPOSE:To obtain an electrode for electrospark machining in a short period of processing time, by method wherein a light is applied to a photosensitive resin through a film sheet to solidify this resin in succession to the same pattern as a transparent part of the film sheet to laminate the solidified resin on a table. CONSTITUTION:To manufacture an electrode core material P0, first a film sheet F0 is fixed on the top surface of a water tank, and a pulse motor is started to move a table 2 downwardly until the table 2 is a unit thickness h1 below the surface of a liquid photosensitive resin HP in the water tank. The motor is stopped. Subsequently, a light from a light source 4a which has been turned on is applied to the photosensitive resin HP through a condensing lens 7 and a film sheet F0. This light application solidifies the photosensitive resin HP to a solidified resin P1 of a unit thickness h1 and of the same shape as the transparent pattern of the film sheet F0. When this resin P1 has become fully solid, the table 2 is inched down by h1 to make a second layer of solidified resin P2. After repeating this procedure until an electrode core material P0 reaches a specific height h0, the electrode core material P0 is washed with water and finally coated with an electrode layer M, thus obtaining the electrode for electrospark machining. |
