PURPOSE:To aim at reducing control losses as well as increasing variable ranges of capacity of a refrigerating compressor, by controlling a refrigerating cycle circuit and compressor frequency, while setting up a frequency converting circuit for making frequency capacity variable and a refrigerant circulation rate control circuit for making compressor refrigerating capacity variable. CONSTITUTION:When frequencies ranging from Hz4 to Hz1 are lowered in succession, the capacity of a compressor 1 comes down relatively from Q3 whereby effective air-conditioning well proximate to a set temperature can be secured. The frequency Hz is of tolerable low frequency at which connection piping for the compressor 1 is not vibrated, so that it is left fixed intact. Next, a release valve 6 is opened and a part of refrigerant gas under compression stroke of the compressor 1 is led to the suction side. That is, part of the refrigerant is led to a circulation volume control circuit 7, decreasing the refrigerant volume that circulates through a refrigerating cycle circuit 5; the capacity drops from Q2 to Q1. Therefore, room temperature arrives at the set temperature. |
