PURPOSE:To prevent the secular change of an elastic roller in the quiescent time and to obtain uniform fixation performance having no irregularity by providing elastic members having hardness higher than that of the elastic roller at both ends of the elastic roller contacts with a rigid roller. CONSTITUTION:The central part of a lower roller 2 where copying paper passes is formed of an elastic member 2a, and the flanges 3 at both ends which are out of the passage region for copying paper are formed of elastic members 3a. The hardness of the members 3a are selected higher than the hardness of the member 2a. The diameter in the central part is set slightly larger than the diameter of the flanges 3. The rotor 2 is held in contact with a metallic rotor 1 under pressure. If the device is constituted in such a way, the secular change of the elastic roller during the time is prevented by the members 3a of higher hardness, and the uniform fixation performance having no irregularity is formed. |
