<p>A device for hanging doors comprises a base plate (1), a fixed clamp plate (2) projecting from the upper side of the base plate (1) and adapted to engage with the bottom region of one side of a door to be hung and a movable clamp plate (5) projecting from the upper side of the base plate (1) and adapted to engage with the bottom region of the other side of the door to cooperate with the fixed clamp plate (2) to hold the door in a desired position. The movable clamp plate (5) is connected to a slide plate (6) which is slidably mounted on the base plate (1) and which can be secured thereto by means of a nut (8) which engages a screw (4) secured to the base plate (1) and projecting through a slot in the slide plate (6). Adjustment screws (13) are provided for adjusting the height and inclination of the base plate (1) in relation to a surface on which the base plate (1) is supported. <IMAGE></p> |
