In a plastic slotted cage for cylindrical rolling elements which, to hold the rolling elements, has projections which project into the pockets and extend over only part of the axial length of the webs, the arrangement is such that the projections (4, 5) which project into successive pockets (3) on each web (2) are arranged axially offset relative to one another. This makes it possible to produce the slotted cage with a one-piece bar (sliding carriage), without damaging the projections. <IMAGE>
