PURPOSE:To accurately grouping data through simplified constitution, by detecting the maximum interval of a coding word bit 1 of a 3PM modulation signal and grouping the data based on the detection. CONSTITUTION:A data group pulse generating circuit 21 generating a data grouping pulse is controlled with an output of a maximum interval detection circuit 13 detecting the maximum interval of a code word bit 1 of a 3PM modulation signal, and a frequency dividing circuit 8 of a clock pulse reproducing circuit 5 is reset with an edge pulse of an edge pulse generating circuit 6 corresponding to the edge of the 3PM modulation signal. Thus, the 3PM modulation can accurately be performed and correct digital data can be obtained. |
