PURPOSE:To make it possible to measure the displacements in the axial direction and the torsinal direction, by the constitution wherein the displacement in the axial direction and the displacement in the torsional direction of a test piece are separately and independently taken out by a pair of plate springs. CONSTITUTION:When the load in the axial direction as well as the load in the torsional direction are applied to the test piece 1, the test piece 1 is deformed in the axial direction and the torsional direction. An upper ring 4 is fixed to an upper index position of the test piece 1 and a lower ring 5 is fixed to the lower index position of the test piece 1. Then a gage 8 is removed. Then the displacements in the axial direction and the torsional direction are yielded in correspondence with the deformation of the test piece, i.e. the upper plate spring 2 is displaced in the axial direction and the lower plate spring 3 is displaced in the torsional direction. The amounts of strains due to the deformation are detected by strain gages 2T and 2C. In this way, the amounts of displacements in the axial direction and the torsional direction are measured. |
