PURPOSE:To facilitate driving of a pile at a corner part, by a method wherein a pile chuck support member is positioned so that it can be widely moved in a longitudinal direction facing a base bed with a base chuck. CONSTITUTION:Firstly, 4 pile A are driven by a pile driver. A base chucks 1 of the pile driver is secured to the upper end of the pile A, and a pile B grasped by a pile chuck 10 is driven through repetition of vertical expansion and contraction of a cylinder 9. After the driving is completed, the base chucks 1 are moved one by one to a pile at a front side by a crane, and the pile chuck 10 is revolved by a 180 deg. arc through revolution of an inner cylinder 8 to perform a pile-driving again. When a pile B1 at a corner is driven, a revolving bed 19 is revolved under a condition that the pile B is kept in a driven state and without movement of the base chuck 1, and slide table 16 is widely slid within a distance W. |
