PURPOSE:To decide an erroneous key input on the input, by varying a key response tone according to the state of shift control during the key input. CONSTITUTION:On key input, a key code which corresponds to a pressed key is outputted to a signal line 2. The controller 3 in the keyboard device monitors the signal line 2 all the time to judge whether the key code is on a shift-in or shift-out side once the key code appears on the signal line 2, and then causes a key response tone generator 5 through the signal line 4 to generate a normal tone or a high-pitched tone. |
