<p>PURPOSE:To prevent sticking, by completing an operation while an input and output device is in operation or stopping the operation after a prescribed time, when an information processor with the input and output device receives an operation stop instruction. CONSTITUTION:Information processing units CPU 1, 1' respectively consist of basic processors BP2, 2' and channel devices 3, 3' and input and output devices I/O 4, 4' are connected via an interface cable 5 to attain the access from the CPUs 1, 1' to the I/O 4, 4'. When an operation stop instruction is given to the CPU 1, the reception of operation request from the I/O is suppressed after a prescribed time and when the I/O is not in operation, the operation is immediately stopped, and the operation is completed during the operation or the operation is stopped after a prescribed time. Thus, in controlling the I/O with a plurality of CPUs, the generation of the sticking is prevented, allowing to improve the system reliability.</p> |
