PURPOSE:To increase the precision of dimension, and to enable automatization and mass production of coils, by a method wherein intervals between the conductive foils on a terminal band that corresponds to intervals between coils concurrently being processed is press-cut. CONSTITUTION:A coil is wound by a specified number of times by a multi-set coil winding machine in a process in which plurality of coils are manufactured simultaneously. If the leading end of an intermediate tap is required, the multi- set coil winding machine is stopped to stick a long double-side adhesive tape 12 on part of the surface of the winder frame. Then, a terminal band 13 is sticked on the double-side adhesive tape 12. On this terminal band 13 is an insulation material 14 sticked. A band-like conductive foil 15 is also sticked on one side of the insulating band. After that, permeable holes are made for every interval of coils. One end of a lead 17 made of tinned meandering stranded conductor on conductive foil 15 is welded 18 to part of coil lead 11. The leadend is insulated by a method wherein an insulating sheet 19 is sticked on the double-side adhesive tape that is exposed at the permeable hole. The coil is wound again for forming its upper layer. Finally the coil is cut into a roll of coil. |
